Before there was The Secret Toy Society, there was simply a husband who loved collecting toys.
For years, Cody spent weekends hunting through toy shows, flea markets, comic shops, antique stores, and conventions looking for that next incredible piece. Collecting wasn't just a hobby—it was part of who he was.
I loved watching his excitement every time he found something special. Seeing the stories behind the toys, the friendships in the community, and the passion collectors shared made me appreciate the hobby just as much.
We never imagined it would become our business.
When Life Changed
In 2022, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS).
Like many families facing an unexpected medical diagnosis, our lives changed overnight. We needed to rethink our future and find a way to build something that would allow us to work together while adapting to a completely new reality.
We looked at the one thing that had always been part of our lives...
Toys.
Ironically, Cody wasn't excited about becoming a reseller. Collecting had always been personal, and selling pieces from a hobby he loved wasn't something he had ever imagined doing.
But sometimes life has a way of opening doors you never expected.
More Than Selling Toys
What started as a way to support our family quickly became something much bigger.
We realized we weren't just selling toys.
We were helping people reconnect with childhood memories.
Helping collectors find pieces they had searched years to own.
Meeting incredible artists.
Traveling to toy shows.
Building friendships all over the world.
Becoming part of a community that welcomed us with open arms.
Without even realizing it, our business had become our passion too.

Today, The Secret Toy Society is more than an online toy store.
It's a place where collectors can discover vintage treasures, rare imports, designer toys, independent artist releases, and our own original creations.
We don't just sell collectibles—we also design, sculpt, and produce our own figures in limited quantities because creating toys has become just as exciting as collecting them.
